Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Supply Chain plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless management of supply chain activities within the organization. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient operations. The position requires close collaboration with procurement, production, and sales teams to align supply chain processes with overall business objectives. Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking
- Assist in managing inventory control systems to optimize resource utilization

- Work with logistics teams to resolve shipping and transportation issues effectively
- Generate and analyze reports on supply chain performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities

- Address customer inquiries related to supply chain and resolve issues swiftly

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Science, Business Administration or equivalent
- An MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance is preferred

Experience
- 7-8 years of experience in the Supply Chain Department with proven expertise

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software
- Knowledge and experience with Just In Time (JIT) and Six Sigma techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with SAP modules relevant to supply chain operations

Work Environment
