Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Group Finance Manager to join our team in Croydon, UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and financial accounting, with a focus on process improvements. As part of our company mission, you will help professionalise the finance function and deliver accurate financials essential for strategic decision-making and driving long-term value.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports
- Lead on technical accounting issues, audit processes, and system enhancements
- Manage payables and receivables, company card, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end schedules
- Strengthen and optimize financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Handle regulatory reporting, including VAT returns and statutory filings
- Oversee cash and treasury management
- Support cash flow forecasting and management of working capital
- Assist the Commercial Finance Manager with budgeting and month-end reporting
- Perform ad hoc duties to support the team and business needs
- Manage and develop the Finance Assistant
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive finance experience with strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly
- Experience with financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
- Payroll experience is a plus

- UK accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

This is a full-time position with a salary range of £50,000 to £65,000 per year. It offers a hybrid work environment in Croydon, UK. No visa sponsorship is required.
