Role Overview
We are seeking a Junior Video Editor who can craft captivating video creatives swiftly. This role involves more than basic editing; it's about attention to detail, viewer engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn quickly, comfortable using AI tools to enhance their creative process, and contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Create short-form video ads (10–30 seconds) for paid campaigns
- Transform gameplay moments, influencer clips, and raw footage into engaging video content
- Develop multiple versions for testing, then optimize based on performance
- Incorporate captions, motion graphics, sound, and platform-specific elements
- Utilize AI tools for idea generation, editing, and variations
- Stay updated with trends across Reels, TikTok, and gaming platforms
What Success Looks Like
- Your creatives effectively drive user installs and engagement
- Continuous improvement in speed and quality of output
- Gaining understanding of what makes advertisements successful
- Progressing from simply executing to generating creative ideas
Qualifications & Skills
- Creative sense: understanding pacing, hooks, and storytelling
- Basic proficiency with After Effects / Premiere Pro
- Fast learner with curiosity about AI and new tools
- Open to feedback and eager to experiment with creative concepts
Preferred Extras
- Experience in editing videos through college, freelance, or personal projects
- Regular consumption and analysis of ads, reels, and short-form content
- Prior exposure to AI editing tools or experimentation with AI-based creation
