BeBetta is one of India’s largest engagement and rewards platforms. We reward users for everyday shopping by letting them scan their bills.
Underneath that simple action, we’re building something much bigger: India’s first verified, SKU-level consumer purchase panel.
Now, we’re building the revenue engine that monetizes this scale - by enabling brands (FMCG & D2C) to fund rewards for their own customers, and eventually pay for the consumer intelligence our data unlocks.
The Role
This is a founding commercial role. You will build BeBetta’s brand-funded monetization engine from near zero - owning partnerships, deal structures, pricing, affiliate rails, and the underlying unit economics. You’ll work directly with the CEO.
What you build will become a core revenue line for the company.
In one line: Move reward costs from our balance sheet to the brands whose customers we influence - and prove it with data.
What You’ll Own
1. Brand Partnerships (FMCG + D2C)
Build and own relationships with brand, shopper marketing, and trade marketing teams.
Position BeBetta as:
“We reach your verified buyers and increase repeat purchase behavior” - not just attribution.
2. The Funding Ladder
Move brands across stages:
• BeBetta-funded → Co-funded → Fully brand-funded
Run boosted campaigns as test cases → turn results into proof → convert proof into long-term funded deals.
3. Deal Structuring & Pricing
Own commercial models such as:
• Cost per verified buyer
• % of basket value
• Budget + target CPA
Design win-win deals that unlock brand budgets while protecting margins.
4. The Affiliate Rail
Set up and scale partnerships with networks like:
• Cuelinks
• Admitad
• Impact
Enable online brands to start monetizing from day one.
5. Unit Economics & Financial Ownership
Own and drive the core metrics:
• Cost per verified buyer
• Contribution margin per scan
• Brand-funded share of reward cost
Be equally strong in a financial model and a brand pitch.
6. Consumer Intelligence Revenue
Open and build a second revenue line:
• Engage insights teams & research partners
• Convert our data into paid consumer intelligence products
You Are
• A commercial builder (5–10+ years) across brand partnerships, shopper marketing, trade marketing, performance marketing, affiliate marketing, retail media, or CPG/D2C sales
• Deeply familiar with how brand budgets actually work (trade spend, shopper marketing, CAC)
• Analytically sharp - you can build and defend unit economics, not just sell
• Naturally ask: “What’s the cheapest test to prove this?”
• High ownership, comfortable with ambiguity, and experienced in building from scratch
• A strong closer who can operate across CMOs, founders, and data teams
Nice to Have
• Experience working with FMCG/CPG brand teams
• Affiliate/performance marketing exposure
• Background in consumer data / retail media / loyalty ecosystems (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, Numerator, Fetch, CashKaro, Magicpin)
• Early-stage startup experience
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
• Key “hero brands” moved up the funding ladder
• Repeatable proof packs that convert into funded deals
• Affiliate rail live and contribution-positive
• At least one consumer intelligence pilot launched
• A trusted unit economics model used by leadership
